usDeep inside us

I am a Creative Arts & Dance Movement Psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, adults in a inpatient setting at a local psychiatric hospital and I think that what E.E. Cummings once said sums up one of my objectives when working with patients at the hospital:

“We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.”
