Nite time lights and depression

There are many causes of depression. Its not just our genes and how we react/respond to our enviroment, but what we put into our body. There are many things one can do to reduce symtoms of depression from the food we eat to expressing ourselves in a way that allows a change to take place.

I recently came across this article from CNET a tech news web site about the relationship between night time lighting and depression:

“A year ago, psychologists at Ohio State University found that the bright fluorescent glare of city lights at night can affect brain structure enough to lead to depression. The findings were relevant not just for those who work at night, but for those who sleep with the lights on, fly frequently on red-eyes, and spend nights in hospitals.”
